Arlene Tognetti and Mellinetti, Inc.

Arlene Tognetti has been studying and practicing tarot and astrology since 1974. She's been teaching the metaphysical arts since 1979. Arlene studied with the Rosicrucian Fellowship from 1974 to 1976. She studied under and taught classes with Dorothy B. Hughes from 1982 to 1984, an important influence for Arlene when she came to the Northwest. Arlene promotes education and classroom work through using the Intuitive Arts as one process to understanding self. She manifested this belief and began offering the opportunity for others to learn about the Intuitive Arts by teaching in her home in the late '70s. She taught at the University of Washington in the Experimental College from 1982 to 1999, and began teaching at Pierce College in Tacoma, Washington, in the fall of 1999.

Mellinetti, Inc. was founded on February 16, 1991. Arlene Tognetti, the visionary Aquarius that she is, felt a need to reach out to the public in a manner that would bring metaphysics to a level of acceptance by all walks of life. The metaphysical tools of tarot, astrology and psychic development are all part of what the organization believes can help the public search for a deeper awareness of their own empowerment. Mellinetti, Inc. promotes the concept of self-awareness through developing the intuition, and believes everyone has the power of introspection, insight and vision.

Mellinetti, Inc., has been the home of many readers who encourage self-empowerment and self-mastery through the symbology of the Intuitive Arts.

Arlene's need to respond to the public's growing interest with all things spiritual brought about the idea of developing a website that would encourage people to investigate the metaphysical arts through offering free tarot readings online and information about her classes. This website is a result of that vision and is continuing to be developed.
